Standard Bank Inside Edge breaks for facelift after 11 years

24 November 2008

One of the most popular sports magazine programmes on television has been booked off to undergo a facelift.

Standard Bank Inside Edge, a cricket show broadcast every Tuesday night on SuperSport 2, will resume its innings early in 2009, boasting a new look and a new format.

The highly rated programme has been part of the South African cricket scene for 11 years. This week's episode was the last one to be broadcast in its present format.

Standard Bank will continue its involvement and the new Inside Edge will be launched at a date to be announced early in 2009.

Several new features will be introduced before the show returns - just as the Standard Bank Pro20 series begins and as the series between South Africa and Australia reaches boiling point.
